Me and my friend were the only black women at the bar and the bartender never served us after 30 minutes. Even people the people that came in after us were served and it wasn’t packed at all. We left after never being served. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

I was visiting Hotel Nell’s Treehouse Rooftop Bar for an Afro futurist event’s happy hour. The irony of this experience was the Latino bartenders ignored every black patron at the bar! My girlfriend was sitting at the bar and was ignored for 20 minutes along with three other black women at the bar. When another Latino man came up to the bar, his order was taken immediately. He even noticed what was going on and ordered drinks FOR some of the black women waiting. We eventually got up and left. It felt like we were in the 1960s. A very embarrassing and disrespectful experience. I don’t advise any black people to visit this bar.

Best place on planet earth
I am trying to contact to reserve with Treehouse Rooftop DC but their number is disconnected, and don't seem to have a website and only a private Instagram account. Does anyone know how to contact them?
Went for an event. A hidden gem for sure. Went back for early dinner. Rooftop was amazing. Mexican Food was delicious. Especially the ceviche.

Poor customer service. The hostess was rude about not having reservations when it was not indicated on the website. The Bar was open without a need for reservations but she still didn’t offer seating when the spot was literally empty.

The food, service, and vibes are excellent. And their bloody maries are hand-made with real tomatoes every day.

I was having a bad day and our server Alex brought the best energy to make it better. Good views, drinks, and food.

Charged me twice and you can’t ever get ahold of them on the phone.. I’ve called a number of times to be left to an automated message and full mailbox. Terrible way to conduct communication

We had such a great Sunday funday brunch! The drinks were on point and the food was solid. You can’t beat the view from the rooftop bar. Alex who was our server was amazing. She was a true delight! The only ding is that they don’t have coffee on the brunch menu. That’s an easy thing they can start. But I highly recommend Treehouse for a chill brunch with the gurls!

I had a disappointing experience at Treehouse at Union Market. The service was painfully slow, and the staff barely checked in during the meal. To make things worse, the food was mediocre at best—not worth the wait. The music was also unbearably loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. On top of that, they automatically add a 20% service charge, which is outrageous given the poor service. Overall, I won’t be coming back.
