In addition, you had to buy food if you purchased a shake and I purchased a donut....they must have had donuts left over from 1864 because it was harder than civil war hard tac. To top it off, the blonde lady was pretty rude.

There are still outfits in Adams Morgan with character and subtle quirk. This is one of them, at the very top close to Columbia, on the east side. Great place to catch a show. Never know who might pop up—especially in the basement. Intimate venue for those who like their live music up close and personal. If you have to go to AdMo, then you have to go to Songbyrd. Best music venue on 18th Street. Hands down.
