Super fun environment!

great, intimate venue but check your tab! upon closing out, my husband and i noticed that the bill was quite high and we asked for an itemized receipt. there were two drinks on there that we did not order. bartender was cool and fixed it but the lack of transparency (they hand you a bill to sign without what you purchased on it) and the somewhat sneaky automatic 20% service fee (why don’t you just increase your beer prices and not add it on later—but i guess this is typical now in dc) really soured our otherwise nice experience.

Songbyrd is an absolute treasure in DC! They have a great selection of events and the staff is unbelievably friendly! Live nearby and have had the opportunity to see some amazing events! New Year’s was pretty swinging!

I've yet to have a bad experience here. The venue continues to be a fun space for hearing good music and drinks.

Great place to see talent upclose. No seating and the sound was not great the night I was there.

I really enjoyed my experience at Songbyrd. I'm disabled and standing for long periods of time at concerts can be extremely painful. One of the employees set up a chair for me in the front row when the doors were opened. All the staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

small venue, easy parking for DC, DELICOUS food, excellent prices ($4 PBR?!) I'll be back for sure

We saw rdgldgrn here, sold out show. Really cool venue that I've never been to before. Rdgldgrn killed it too!! Drinks weren't priced too bad either.

The venue is so beautiful and the drink and food options are so good!! Most of the staff are kind, and both the patio and inside are a vibe. The venue is a little small though and the bathrooms are a struggle! But thankfully, the bathrooms aren't dirty.

It was my first time and I loved the vibe! Bio Ritmo had an amazing sound (11/18) I was very pleased to know that they have been playing for a long time and that it's a local staple, you can tell by the harmony of all the instruments together.

I love this place. It's a small concert hall/café that has some pretty good alternative indie musicians. A few things I did not expect that were pleasant surprises. Free parking in a gated lot across the street from the venue. No weirdos hanging around after hours, well in all fairness this could be subjective. The french fries are the best, they tasted exactly like McDonald's fries in the 80's. My chicken quesadilla was on the spicy side and pretty good too. The sound system was decent and the bathrooms were newly renovated and clean. They have a full bar, the wine comes in a can, they had white and rose, but no red?? Who does'nt serve red wine?! Anyways, it's a cool spot that's been around for a while, but I wouldn't think to come here unless I actually knew who was playing. I love the intimate setting, met Vinyl Williams and the rest of the band after the show. What- A- Night!
