Must be a local place, in a good way! Even with a party of 6, we got sat right away. I was so happy to see a tuna melt on the menu, and it didn't disappoint. Good menu and fast, though service.

Accidentally hit the thumbs down when closing out, but that couldn't be further from the TRUTH. This place has the vib and service that you are looking for in a bar/pub in DC. 10/10 would recommend. See y'all next time!

The burger was excellent—definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything else was solid and okay overall. The biggest issue was the service. Only one staff member was handling both the tables and the bar for the entire restaurant, so things moved really slowly. Despite that, they were friendly and doing their best under the circumstances. With better staffing, this place could be fantastic.
Always a great place to hang out, drink, eat, meet someone.

Stopped by with my fiancé for late dinner. Kitchen is open late, which is awesome. Menu is standard for a dive bar. I ordered the Reuben, and it was great. I subbed the onion rings for an extra dollar, they were ok. My fiancé got the deep fried burger, it was overdone, but otherwise fine. We split a pitcher of beer, which was about 64oz for $26, quite the deal in the DC area. The place gives me the feel of a well enjoyed dive bar.
Pros: Cheap beer pitchers, good Reuben, casual atmosphere.
Cons: the deep fried burger

Sean is great. Love the neighborhood vibe and the owners that care and take care of their staff.
Very nice atmosphere, wonderful staff, incredible Mozzarella sticks. A nice place for a date or to hang out with friends. Lots of seating.

But for the god awful staff at Tune Inn, this dive bar would be a gem. For over a year, my friends and I have been several times and always leave wondering how the staff remains employed. They consistently treat their patrons disrespectfully and like it is a chore to do their job. This is a general consensus around town (just ask around or read the other reviews here), and we will not be back because of it. I would highly recommend going next door to Hawk n Dove or to one of the many other friendly establishments nearby.

I visited here on a weekday and was surprised by how full and lively it was. This is a cool little bar with elaborate decorations and plenty of seating.
They had a huge menu and I believe they serve breakfast all day. Some of the items seemed a bit pricey, but there’s plenty of inexpensive items to order as well. I ordered the hot dog platter which was 8 dollars. My food came out hot and I had no issues, it was pretty standard bar food.
The servers were nice and polite. I ordered a gin and tonic and a vodka cran, each was about $6.50. I would usually consider that a bit expensive for a simple drink, but my drinks were really strong.
This would be a fun place to visit with friends after a night of sightseeing!
