I visited here on a weekday and was surprised by how full and lively it was. This is a cool little bar with elaborate decorations and plenty of seating.

They had a huge menu and I believe they serve breakfast all day. Some of the items seemed a bit pricey, but there’s plenty of inexpensive items to order as well. I ordered the hot dog platter which was 8 dollars. My food came out hot and I had no issues, it was pretty standard bar food.

The servers were nice and polite. I ordered a gin and tonic and a vodka cran, each was about $6.50. I would usually consider that a bit expensive for a simple drink, but my drinks were really strong.

This would be a fun place to visit with friends after a night of sightseeing!

Incredibly—and I mean genuinely incredibly, rude staff. 110% would not recommend spending your money here. How this place remains open/ even has customers is baffling.

So, here's the thing...feeling welcomed as soon as you walk in to a place you have never been before means so much. My husband and I were visiting DC. We were checking out places to eat near our hotel. We stopped in at Tune Inn. It was packed! The bar and all tables were full. The bartender welcomed us right away even though he was super busy. He told us to order a beer and hang out...the next table was ours. He handed us a happy hour drink menu and we did just that. Our waitress was on the ball. She was handling more tables than humanly possible but she made it look easy. Food was delicious!!!! An excellent find on our trip and obviously busy for a reason.

Been a few times, the food is slightly below mediocre at best, overall atmosphere is pretty cool. The service is shit, waitresses with terrible attitudes. Trying to spend money on drinks for large groups of people and they’re telling you to get out of the way. Wouldn’t go back and spend my money on food, drinks, or tips. Way better options in DC.

After looking for a good quick meal, we settled on the Tune Inn. It appears to be a local favorite. Lots of people call it a dive bar...it's old, has some cool relics including some very old taxidermy. We got lucky and sat right down. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was AWESOME. My daughter got the special of the day, spaghetti with meat sauce (it was huge). Everything was great including the service. We had an older gentleman who was running the bar as well as waiting tables. He was scrambling, but did a great job!

Visited in the afternoon of July 12, 2025. The server was absolutely rude and inattentive. When myself and another guest said please and thank you, she did not acknowledge us multiple times. After asking for a drink refill, she went back to the bar and spent 10 minutes helping her friend find a channel on the television . Eventually, I walked up to the bar and ask for my refill again. ( Bar area had eight people) .Observed her treating other guests the same way. The roast beef was horrendous. The meat was dry and the bread was stale. Will never come back to this establishment.
