So, here's the thing...feeling welcomed as soon as you walk in to a place you have never been before means so much. My husband and I were visiting DC. After looking for a good quick meal, we settled on the Tune Inn. It appears to be a local favorite. Lots of people call it a dive bar...it's old, has some cool relics including some very old taxidermy. We got lucky and sat right down. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was AWESOME. My daughter got the special of the day, spaghetti with meat sauce (it was huge). Everything was great including the service. We had an older gentleman who was running the bar as well...
They had a huge menu and I believe they serve breakfast all day. Some of the items seemed a bit pricey, but there’s plenty of inexpensive items to order as well. I ordered the hot dog platter which was 8 dollars. My food came out hot and I had no issues, it was pretty standard bar food.
