Valley Brook Tea Reviews
I just had a freshly brewed cup of Little Chi-Gen with a pastry assortment. Everything was excellent. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. It was a wonderful experience.
Very nice staff and informative. Drinks are inexpensive but pastries are traditional and on the pricey side. Update still just as pleasant its nice to just drink a good cup of tea with sweets that are delicate and petite.
The tea was delicious. And the staff was excellent.

Valley Brook Tea offers a unique experience with traditional tea service and a variety of high-quality teas, including Fujian rock tea and oolong peach tea. Customers can enjoy gongfu cha service in a cozy and elegant setting, perfect for a date or reading a book. The shop has a good selection of classic Chinese teas, and the decor creates a pleasant atmosphere with very comfortable seating. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making it a recommended spot for tea enthusiasts. One customer praised the tea set and vegan cookies, noting the orange one had a nice jammy filling that paired well with the tea. The shop is conveniently located next to the DuPont Circle metro. While most teas are excellent, some, like jasmine green tea, may taste bland. The cafe also offers mooncakes and a few iced tea options, but does not serve bubble tea. The prices are a bit high, with a cup costing around $6.99, making it less suitable for daily visits. Overall, Valley Brook Tea remains a charming place for those who enjoy floral, fruity, or toasty teas and a peaceful spot to relax.
