I like the pizza but I would ask that you turn on some AC for your employees. It was so hot in there and they were still so patient and nice. Please give them some air!!

The young woman at the cashier lacks customer service so bad . Didn’t even speak or help. If your new to the place don’t waste your time because she will make you feel like your there to get free food instead of spending your own hard earned money .

I wanted this to be a four star experience because the staff here are awesome. The Detroit-style slice just did not deliver the way I hoped.
When I got my slice, one side was piping hot with the cheese bubbling and the edges crisping. The other side was lukewarm. It was basically room temperature. I asked if they could reheat it and because of food safety, which is totally fair, they handed me a fresh slice. Big points for that.
Unfortunately, the second slice had the same problem. The edges heated up but the middle stayed kind of meh. I do not think this is a staff issue. Detroit-style just does not work well with the per slice reheat model.
If you are grabbing a classic slice, go for it. If Detroit-style is calling your name, I would recommend getting a whole pie so you can get that fresh out of the oven magic.

Pizza was decent. The slices were good sized, but could have used a bit more sauce.

Not the first time here last two time we have been here the pizza has been getting salty . Would think that the veggie style pizza would be better but no it was worst in salt content.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The price though??? Wow. But somehow, it tastes like it's worth it.

Great option for families with kids! Close to the Capitol. Seating is upstairs so it looks vacant at first, but it's a hive of seating and people upstairs. After a Capitol tour with our state rep's office, the kids and I took a short Lyft ride to this pizza-by-the-slice restaurant. So. Many. Options! Everyone got what they wanted, price was reasonable, service was fast. The kids each got pepperoni and I devoured their butternut squash pizza (seasonal option). Glazed onions, balsamic drizzle - so good. We split a basket of garlic knots with marinara.

Definitely one, if not the best pizza, I've ever had. So much selection, ready to go and great staff
Always loved the sliced here but today’s meal was very, very weak. Crust was soggy bi could get better at home frying it up in a pan. For years you used to be great. So better!
These guys make the best pizza in DC, try the Detroit style! They are very courteous and are very nice! Too bad they close early (but everything closes early in DC) cheers!
