literally best place we ate the entire trip!! We came back several time throughout our week there and still could've eaten there more. Prices are reasonable and they have a great lunch special for 14$ you can get two slices of pizza and one of their housemade drinks.

Got a basic cheese slice and a sasparilla soda. Slice was sufficiently cheesy. I'd like a little more crunch, personally. The slice held its shape well when folded and the sauce is a good consistency and taste. Not the best thing I've ever had but I wouldn't complain about hitting it for lunch. They make the sodas using syrup at the counter and the sassafras was pretty good. I'll come back to try the Detroit slice next time.
They have vegan Detroit style pizza. I didn't try it but it looks good.

This has become my go-to, laid-back pizza joint, and I'm here at least once a week to hang out with friends on the hill. While the floors and furniture have seen better days, I really enjoy the music murals on the walls. The pizza is consistently good, and I'm a big fan of the non-alcoholic soda jerk specialties!
I really enjoyed the service. The front desk cashier named Omar was very helpful. I had to get on Google to write this review. The piece is good, but Omar was very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. I think his service should be highlighted Will be back thanks to Omar!

I like the pizza but I would ask that you turn on some AC for your employees. It was so hot in there and they were still so patient and nice. Please give them some air!!
