We were visiting dc and were craaving delicious kebab and found this hidden gem. I didnt know the restaurant was at the food court but i was so touched by many things they do. First of all, they bake their own pita bread there. Then i knew i was at the right spot. Then i noticed that all the raw meat was skewered ready, which means they cook the meat as they get orders - freshly bbqed meat! The staff was very nice and we had a very delicious kebob. Thank you!

The food was amazing! I got the combo with lamb, chicken, and kubideh kabob with rice. It was tasty and fresh. Staff are really friendly and the service was quick. Portions are generous too. Definitely recommend!
Update: I came back today and tried the gyro. Hands down the best gyro I have had in the DMV area. Special shout-out to Farid for the excellent service.

It's absolutely outstanding that you can find this kind of food for this price near the National Mall facilities. My wife and I went there a couple times after museums and never regretted. The fact that it's in a Food Court, I guess, helps keeping their prices down. They complement it with friendly service, good quality food, and freshly baked bread. Though there are quite a few nice restaurants at the Food court, we, after walking around the court a few times, would come to Yafa again. Recommended for a budget friendly time around the National Mall.
Stumbled upon this place and it was so good!!! Ended up with a falafel sandwich (a pita wrap with falafel, lettuce, tom, onion amd tziki type sauce). AND it came with these AMAZING chickpeas and a separate side of a spicy green sauce. Also picked up a mango lassi, fantastic! If you weren't 700 miles away, I stop by at least once a week!
It's in the basement of the Reagan Building. Hard to find, but it's part of a huge food court with options for everyone in your fam... pizza places, sub places, gelato places and more. Stop by this kabob place, forget about the food trucks!! There are seats, air-conditioning, bathrooms and this amazing place!! It's a federal buidling, so follow the arrows to find the entrance, get yourself scanned by security and head on down there!

What an excellent experience. This place is in a food court and it sure stands out from the rest. Went here recently with a friend and wow 🤩 the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the size for what you pay. The owner is very kind and offered great recommendations. I will 100% be back!
