Had a great experience with NaRa-Ya on the wharf in DC. I guess you would call it a Japanese fusion menu - alot of traditional items with a bit of flare to them. Started with the seaweed salad that had some avacado, a sauce, and some strawberries. Was quite good. Pork gyoza were more traditional, but still tasty. Had a couple of rolls and they were well prepared and high quality. A nice mix of standard rolls and House specialities. And best of all was the service. Food...
I had an incredible dining experience at Nara Ya at The Wharf in DC. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and vibrant—modern yet comfortable, with the perfect touch of elegance that makes it ideal for both a casual night out and a special occasion.

Nice! Food was excellent! The service was on point! And the atmosphere is great! We were about 25 deep and the service never skipped a beat! The views are nice just no rooftop access like next door but still a nice view. Would recommend for another spot to try, especially with so many options at the wharf.
