La Vie what staple on the DC Whaft. I recently was invited to a birthday party of one of my not so economically challenged friends. Rather the party was amazing. The food was at best mediocre. Didn’t quite live up to the hype. But then again, maybe it was because it was a Caterer event buffet style. The pasta dishes left a lot to desire, although the mushrooms were amazing. This was one of my first times experiencing fine dining. It was with a large party as well so I was worried about how we would be handled with the service. I was beyond satisfied with the accommodating and helpful service that we recieved despite our party size. The food was very well seasoned as well. It was a great place to dine and celebrate! Also, the interior decoration designs were stunning and worked so well for photo ops!
