The food. I informed them of an allergy and they completely dismissed it. I repeated it several times. The ingredients also weren't clear on the menu. When I pointed this all out after waiting 20 minutes for my meal, I was blamed for it all. Quite disappointing as I was looking for a good cafe in my neighborhood.

Their internet is fast, and the atmosphere is laid back. Their prices are also reasonable. Yoube is my new favorite coffee/breakfast spot in the neighborhood - I try and go at least once a week! Everyone who works there is so lovely and kind. I love working or reading at Yoube; even when it’s crowded, it’s still a great place to be productive. Would highly recommend checking it out!

I stumbled by this place on my way to another coffee shop and stopped in here instead. I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the staff is incredibly friendly and open. I ended up ordering a full meal as well and my friend got a smoothie, both were delicious. The food is flavorful and large portion sizes, better than a lot of restaurants! I worked on my laptop and had tea, but really you can treat this place like a restaurant too. I wish I lived in DC to go back more! A neighborhood staple. Great vegan options too.
