Cottage Cafe used to be a really good bargain. Good food and great portions. Then SoDel got a hold of it. High prices and small very small portions. The meal was not the warmest, flounder was dry and bland. How small you ask? If a game warden dines there and orders the stuffed flounder, someone is getting a fine. The flounder I had tonight was way under the size limit. For others, if it has SoDel associated with the restaurant don’t waste your time or money.
We have eaten here probably 15-20 times. The staff is always friendly. The food is really good for a fair price considering the beach area. Even though we are further than some other restaurants it’s always on our list of places to eat.
