It is hilarious how the Google app will ask you to write reviews on food places like McDonald’s and KFC and Burger King that I’ve not been to yet. I guess I’ve driven next to and then this one pops up that I have been to and I’ve written reviews about many times in previous years . It is a wonderful spot to go, heads and shoulders above those other locations. In past years I posted the recipe for their special dipping sauce, which is like crack and makes this chicken outrageous.

Definitely worth stopping for! Eating at Kiwanis is a really unique experience. You drive or walk up, and you can either get just chicken or chicken with pickles and a roll. The chicken is tender, smoky, and well seasoned.

The last 2 times, the chicken has been burnt and very dry. Today it was dry, burnt and tasteless -no salt no pepper no seasoning. I think I’ll switch back to greenwood next year! You know when you don’t season the chicken and you know when you leave it cooking too long! I can go buy and do my own chicken cheaper! I’m just trying to help. I’d love ro post a pic of my black chicken but it won’t give me the option. Sad.
