An hour ago at 3:30, giro that seats you was inside. We went into the restaurant/bar, only wanted to order 2 crab cake sandwiches to go. Was told, no!! Seating girl said go outside /and phone in your order or order online, or walk across the 4 lane roadway thru Dewey to get them. Bartender who was equally rude said “it’s only 30 feet man!!” I’m 61 years old, my mother is in her 80s. She went to the car. I decided to take my 2 feet and leave. I won’t be back!! Simple.. if you want the best crab cakes you go to Woodys in Dewey Beach! However don't pass up on the rest of their offerings. Woodys has the food you want to eat in Dewey. Everything's wonderful. Their service team is excellent! May, takes excellent care of my family. My children make friends with everyone there, why's that? Because we always get treated like we are family! I have been enjoying crab cakes for 60 years . Either out or making them myself. Owned a restaurant for 15 years. I thought I would try their crab cakes. Got carryout. It is a shame when you have the finest ingredients and mess it up. Our crab cakes were burnt black on the top and bottom. The crab lumps were actually crunchy . What a shame.
