I am originally from Dover so Shuckers Pier is a local favorite. The price and portions are reasonable. The taste was excellent. 3 people ate for under $40. The hamburger meal was a happy hour menu special. Not sure why there was a little wait to be seated when there was plenty of empty tables. Maybe cause only had small staff. We solved that issue by going to the bar side and sat in a booth.
We were in Dover and decided to try Shuckers. We had the pan fried cod, one with the crab imperial and one without. Everything was great - fish, Vegies, salad and the beer was ice cold. Service was great. What an enjoyable lunch.

I am very happy with everything. I would give 5 stars on all aspects. Seating and accommodations were quiet and clean, service was exceptional, food was delicious. Food of course needs more, it was fresh, crab was crackable by hand means that it has not sat in a steam pot all day. It was fresh and tasty. Fried shrimp and scallops had fresh flavor that needed no dipping in sauce of any kind. Well worth a stop.
