“I agree this is a hidden gem. Vegetarian husband got cactus flower quesadilla with 2 great sauces on the side. I got pastor tacos. So many choices! Recommend take out as they only have 4-5 tables, and it was hot inside. Food was ready in 10 minutes or less.“

“Today was the first time I came to eat at La Parrillada restaurant and it was a very good experience, the service was very good and attentive and most importantly, the food was very good. “We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).

We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.

The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.

Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.

Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.“
