Don't miss these West Chester Mexican restaurant gems.
“Tacos are as authentic as they get! I had the asada & al pastor- my husband got asada and carnitas. Both of us were blown away with the quality and the flavors. Tortillas are clearly made fresh in house. Plus, they have every flavor of jarritos you can imagine too. Overall, we will absolutely be back!“
“The food was great! It came out quickly and with warmed plates. The staff could not speak English which made it hard to communicate to order, or let them know of needs, like a refill. However that added to the atmosphere and would not stop me from going back.“
“After much fanfare and hoopla, I decided to give this Mexican joint a visit. I ordered the chorizo tacos and they were delish except for the price tag of $14 for three tacos. The food was fresh and the layout did remind me of a Chipotle restaurant. One of the employees served me green salsa in lieu of the habernero salsa and I was upset that the employee didn't know the difference. As with most Mexican restaurants in the area, no complimentary chips/salsa or beans & rice. They did let me try the carne asada and I would like to give it a try on my next visit. I am not going to rush my return to this joint but will try in the next 30 days.“
“Impromptu visit while in town for a softball event and pleasantly surprised! Absolutely perfect!! From service to food and the delicious margaritas!! Will return for sure if back in town!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and vegan options available“
“Clean, well lit establishment with a very simple Mexican menu. Quick service with a smile. Got the Red Sombrero burrito and a side of chips and guacamole.. Best to call ahead and order.. make sure you order from the correct storefront.. the have another store I. kennett square.“
“The breakfast burritos are phenomenal, Im sure the other food is good but thats all I have had along with the orange juice.I always get the exact same thing. Froman Burrito with fresh avocado and extra cheese, its the best breakfast I have had in town.I see a lot of complaints about pricing and wait times, and Jaco has a tiny kitchen/restaurant so I feel confident they are just doing the best they can in regards to wait time.Pricing? Its definitely not cheap but we live in an expensive area and everything is really fresh and good and they don’t skimp on portions, if price point is your concern nowhere in West Chester is cheap anymore.“
“This place is amazing. The food is by far one of my favorite places to get Mexican. The servers are always so nice and friendly and the food comes out quicker than expected because it’s so fresh. I’ve tried other local Mexican restaurants,, but this one is my favorite.“
“This is our go to Mexican take out place. Some good food here, better than fast food. Every so often the tamales are a bit dry on the edges (like they're not as fresh, reheated), but most of the time they're awesome (we get them every time). Burritos are good, but not the best (veggies taste frozen, not saying they are). Alambre and quesadillas are great. Great, spicy chicken tortilla soup. Good stuffParking: Street parking in residential area, usually a little right, but I can usually park within a block to do take outWheelchair accessibility: I do not believe this is wheelchair accessible -small place whose main entrance is up a few steps.“
“I absolutely never write reviews. This is actually my first but this must be said. My first time experience at this establishment was as amazing. The restaurant was very clean and the service was quick and efficient yet they took the time and asked me at each station if I was interested in different items instead of just looking up at me and waiting for me to respond. The staff was very friendly and the food looked very appealing and tasted even better, very fresh. 10/10 recommend.“
“The food was phenomenal!!! Great size portions with great taste. They have aguas frescas and handmade tortillas! It felt like I was back home eating my mom's home cooked meals again!! This family own restaurant is a hidden gem ?!!! As a Mexican native, I give it authentic approval for anyone looking for authentic food!“
“La Rancherita is an excellent place to eat! Authentic Mexican food and atmosphere. The fajita mixta is delicious and they give you a satisfying portion size! The chicken enchiladas are very tasty as well! Wonderful staff who are very welcoming!!Vegetarian options: ProvidedKid-friendliness: Children with their families are welcomed!Parking: Lots of parking available and it’s a free lot!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is!Dietary restrictions: Very willing to adjust to accommodate“
