Taqueria Mi Ranchito is a family owned Mexican restaurant in West Chester. It has only been open about five months, but it is actually the third location for the family, whose roots come from Puebla, Mexico. The walls are decorated with photos that reflect the family's origins, giving the space a warm, personal feel. The menu offers classics like tacos, enchiladas, carnitas, camarones, quesabirria, and fajitas, along with the Rachero Chihuahua and Chicken Fajitas. The mole poblano is a standout, made completely from scratch and taking a full day to prepare. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Chips and salsa are not complimentary and are an a la carte side order. Service is great, the atmosphere is amazing, and the food is fresh, nicely spiced, and full of flavor, with spice levels for all people. The smaller restaurant works for two, and take out is available for large groups. Visitors recommend it and plan to return.
