“Heavy on the five stars for The Juice Pod.

I have been seeing all the gym girlies and healthy lifestyle influencers post this place for the longest, and I kept saying I wanted to try it. So when I found out there was a location near me in Wilmington, I was SO excited. They did tell me they’re expanding to Newark too, but honestly… Wilmington needed this.

I’ve really been trying to find healthier food spots near me that still feel good, taste good, and make healthy eating easier and The Juice Pod definitely checks those boxes.

First of all, the aesthetics are BEAUTIFUL. The inside is so clean, modern, calming, and aesthetically pleasing. It honestly feels like the type of place I would decorate myself.

The energy was fresh, welcoming, and very wellness-focused without feeling overwhelming.

As soon as I walked in, Morgan greeted me and immediately made the experience even better. Since it was my first visit, she let me know I got 20% off, and then on top of that, Wednesdays already have a discount. I said okayyyy, this is already a win. They also give birthday incentives and rewards when you sign up, which I thought was really nice.

I came in already having made myself a smoothie earlier, so this time I wanted actual food. I was stuck between the Kale Caesar Chicken Wrap and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and Morgan was SO patient helping me decide. She really knew the menu, explained everything thoroughly, and honestly made me want to keep coming back. Customer service like that matters.

I ended up trying the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and I’m so happy I did. The blue cheese crumbles, the sauce, the buffalo flavor, and even the crunch from the celery all balanced together perfectly. It tasted flavorful while still feeling fresh and healthy, which is hard to find sometimes.

Another thing I loved was the portion size. It’s not one of those tiny “healthy” meals that leave you hungry an hour later. I was able to eat half for lunch and save the rest for later, which made it even more worth it.

I also thought it was really nice that they reward customers for leaving reviews on Instagram or Google with a tumbler. I already love supporting businesses through reviews anyway, especially as a business owner myself, so I thought that was a smart and thoughtful touch.

The location is only about 17 minutes from my place of work, so this will definitely become one of my regular lunch spots.

Next time I go back, I’m definitely trying one of the smoothies because they looked AMAZING. I already know I’m going to be back updating this review after I try more from the menu.

“I like playa bowls this particular one was a little hidden. I am going to try the one on Concord pike next. I like this place because I can get a thick creamy treat without feeling totally guilty. The portions are generous so if you can't hold a lot of food be prepared ro share or recycle.“
