I really want to like the Crownery. It's close to home, the people are nice and the orders are ready 10 minutes after you call. However, the food is bland. I ask for EXTRA spicy to try to get some flavor. Most of the beef and chicken dishes are tasteless and I've had many, many menu items. The Vietnamese Beef is good but is's $20 for takeout. Delaware has a lack of good Chinese takeout places. Edit: new owners as 2023. Worse now

Took the family out last night for dinner. Food was amazing and the service was first class. Have been a customer for years. The new owner I think is doing a wonderful job. The portions are huge. Always left overs for the following day. Will continue to do business I hope for years to come, thank you.

I’m so happy and excited to find a restaurant so close to home that has amazing soup dumplings. Egg rolls are very obviously made in house and they tasted amazing. The hot and sour soup was so good we ordered more to take home. Beautiful atmosphere and the people who work here are so friendly. We will absolutely be returning.
