“Wow, great Tonalteca burrito! Service is friendly. We have been her two dozen times. Good happy hour and open for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We will do takeout often but dinning in is always a pleasure - full bar.

GM, Juan, runs a great front and kitchen staff. Cannot say enough about how well run this restaurant is run - excellent food and service.

The bar is a good place to watch European, North, Central, and South American football (soccer).

By far the best Mexican we have had in the Wilmington - Newark area. We moved here from Southern California. I would compare it to the better Mexican restaurants in San Diego.“

“I’ve been going here for about two years now and this is my of my favorite restaurants in the area. The Baja Shrimp tacos have this amazing sauce that makes the meal so so good. And the burros have such a good sauce too. I also love their fries, they’re so unique with them being so thin. The service here is also great. You get sat quickly, your server comes over fast, and your food comes out fast. The other night I had this server Dana who was so sweet and we had a nice conversation. It was great because I was dining alone so I was happy to have someone to talk to. And she recommended the pastelitos and they were delicious. Highly recommend!!!“

“I order some food delivered one night. All the food was good. I also ordered a molten lava cake. The cake came in a small container. I went back to the same restaurant, I ordered from the other night and attended happy hour. The waiter my wife and I had was wonderful. But I ask my waiter,could he have the manager to come over. Once the manager came over, I explained the ice cream situation. The manager introduced himself. His name was Tom. Tom apologized and said he would make it right. He said he would refund, my wife and I. I told Tom no need,just bring out another molten lava cake. Tom told us, it's on him and have my wife and I a extra scoop of ice cream. Thank you Tom. “I am one of their first customers ever. This is the original location. I've eaten their various foodways: quesadillas, chicken bowl, fish tacos. Now I'm eating chicken (flour) tacos, as they seem lighter than burritos or bowls. I tried the roasted garlic cilantro sauce for the first time this week, and WOW, it was delicious. It's a lighter sauce (not creamy) with brilliant flavor. Garlic strikes the right base note, doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors: freshness of the tomatoes, clever char on the chicken, etc. If you've eaten here before, try a new sauce and have a new experience.“
