An enjoyable birthday dinner for my wife. I booked a reservation at the request of my wife for her birthday dinner. It is usually our treat on our anniversary, but she decided to mix things up. I was perfectly fine with that! We brought along a known “curmudgeon” guest and his wife...both of whom had never dined at Raas or had any Indian cuisine. We dined at Raas last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had alerted the Raas team of our special occasion and they couldn't have done a better job to make our evening special. The entire staff knew of our anniversary and wished us the best. The service, food and setting were exceptional. Thank you to the entire Raas Team for helping to make this a wonderful evening!!
This was our second time at this highly underrated Indian food restaurant on a quiet street corner in Lewes. We live in Washington DC and I think Raas is as good or better than anything we can get in DC. The cocktails are imaginative and true to the season. The server was so friendly and very knowledgable about all of the dishes. Raas takes basic dishes, like daal, and elevates them to the sublime. And they have offerings on the menu that imprint their own take on Indian flavors....
