We returned to Lewes for another get away and returned to the Surfing Crab for some excellent seafood. We have been here twice in the past and this time the restaurant did not fail to live up to past experiences. The fried oyster appetizer was a pleaser with some plump oysters. Both of had the crab cakes which we have done in the past and they again lived up to our experiences in the past, lovely lump crab and very little filler. The hush puppies were excellent as well. The surfing crab just made my dad's 85th birthday really something special. The food was great, the staff there is amazing. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate both of our birthdays and we'll never forget it!
Great place for seafood / crabs. If you go in peak time; Dinner the atmosphere is overly busy and extremely LOUD. We couldn't talk at the table without yelling over all the background noise. Otherwise great crabs!
