We have been eating here since they opened in Lewes. Ordered takeout for 12 people appetizers, entrees and desserts. They forgot one entre and one spaghetti side. The manager on the phone denied the mistake and claimed he bagged the order himself. He was not polite and didn’t offer a refund. We offered to send him a picture of the order and he responded we could easily leave out food in the picture. I believe this manager should find a new job if he can’t count an order. The food was good especially the chicken parmigiana and the dessert as always!

I came in for dinner with my family of five. We were told the wait for a table was 90 minutes, which seemed excessive since I could see two open tables. So I ordered a pizza to go instead, quoted at 25 minutes.
While waiting, I overheard the host quoting other walk-ins a 30-minute table wait, not 90.
After 25 minutes, I went to pick up my pizza. It wasn’t ready. I was told it’d be another 25 minutes, effectively doubling the original quote. I pointed out that 25 minutes had already passed and that was the time I’d been promised.
The response was: “Sorry, we’re super busy.”
This isn’t really about one slow night — it’s about the gap between what’s quoted and what’s real. A 90-minute table quote that was actually 30, and a 25-minute pizza that became 50+, isn’t “busy,” it’s a broken estimation system. If the timers are being padded to manage walk-in frustration or the kitchen has no real visibility into ticket times, that’s a management/ops problem, not a staffing excuse.

Took 45 minutes to get just 2 pizzas! Although so many staff, seem deployed incorrectly as lots of unfriendly people standing around while we couldn’t get our waiters attention. Pizza was ok.

This place is an absolute authentic gem! Family vacation from Pennsylvania. Our server Rich was incredible, so was the food! Please get the rigatoni and the Linguine fra' diavolo is completely amazing! Did i mention the fresh bread made on the premises. You can't visit lewes without coming here...we will be back!!

The pastries are awesome. Atmosphere is quaint. The service people were kind. Can't wait to go back and try the lunch and dinner options.
That's truly Italian. I loved the olive oil—it’s low in acidity and doesn't burn your throat. The pizza is fabulous. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
