I'd like to take a minute to leave a very positive review of my recent experience at Capriotti's in Middletown, DE.
I have been a Capriotti's customer long before the Middletown store opened over 20 years ago. When the Middletown store opened, the sandwiches were amazing. Everything was on par with every other location I had ever eaten at in Delaware.

Absolutely horrible 3 table spoons of hot of crushed red hots on one half! I love hots as much as most but not that much simply laziness I’ll stick to malins deli or even the new place up near summit tavern!
I ordered 1 small cheesesteak with just mushrooms and fried onions. I paid 10.49. I waited 15 min for one sandwich and they weren’t even busy. Got home and there was no weight to the sandwich. They are way overpriced and taking advantage of people. Needless to say I won’t be back. The pictures on the website is not even close to what you get. By the way barely any mushroom if any and same with the onions. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend. Save your money and go somewhere...read full review
