Pizza is pizza, which i dont eat, my nephews did, and do young kids eat, yep! I got brushetta, it came with flatbread, for $12.99 was the portion size worth it, would i get it again, it was ok but prob not, I've had much better
Perfectly mediocre pizza. I moved to DE almost a year ago and didn't go to a Grottos because locals had mentioned how basic it was. But on the 11th month of living down here. I figured I would try it. Wasn't worth the 18 minute drive. I get a margarita pizza almost anywhere so go, and honestly, not hard to screw that up.....but this had 70% tomatoes on it. I am happy I tried it to see for myself, but looks like the locals were right, a good pizza stop for beach goers...
As always, Grotto's is a hit. I spotted a location I hadn't visited before and had to give it a shot. I just grabbed pizza and a drink at the bar, but the bartender was friendly, making sure I knew about their specials. The atmosphere was laid back.
