“I’ve had the best take out, from the Hockessin store! Everybody is so friendly there. The ribs, chicken (all ways), smothered pork chops, collared greens, Mac, corn bread, the list goes on. This food, puts you in a good state of mind. It’s like a hug, you can eat. Get some!“

“We stopped in mid road trip and this place is so cute. I noticed there are a lot of regulars and the hostess joked it's like cheers where everyone knows your name. The people seem genuinely happy to be here which is so rare.
Breakfast for 4 people at $52 is incredible, perfect portions. It's clean, it's bright, and great service. The desserts looked yummy, we will have to try those another time“

“Recently tried Vern's Catering by their food truck at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival. Everything we ordered was delicious! The fried fish was very flavorful, no heavy batter, just fish, as it should be. The portions were quite generous, making it an exceptional value! The crab cake was real crabmeat, no filler and the side dishes were delicious without being heavy. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.“

“First time ever eating at Bob Evans. Very few customers in the building, which makes me a little nervous. Greeted quickly and sat right away (go figure). Ordered the Steak Tips and Lemon Chicken Breast with fully loaded Mashed Potatoes and corn. Felt like eating home, simple. A Resturant better suited for the older generation, nothing fancy here. Simple and plain.“
