FIRE! For me, everything hit. I got the fried catfish platter and it was ALL THAT. The seasoning on the cat fish was real nice and the fry on it was perfect. Crisp, not greasy and tender cat fish under the batter. The mac n' cheese was flavorful: baked well and thick. The greens: tender but not soggy n' wilted or full of stems. Definitely one of the best places in Delaware to get you a home cooked meal. The small drawback to this is that there are usually long wait times for your food. But for me it's worth it.

So all and all I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience here. The vibe on a dreary Friday afternoon was chill. There was a line but it moved quickly. Service was outstanding. I only took off a star because I ordered the shrimp fried rice. That portion was huge! Pleasantly surprised on that aspect. I feel it could have used more shrimp or even a larger size of shrimp but it was standard of what you find in fried rice. My only complaint was the fried rice has a very strong flavor…...
