I was here for lunch with my mother in law, and the crab corn chowder? I think is what I had. It was SO GOOD. Prices are a little high, but man do they deliver with the portion size!

I recently visited friends in Newark from out of town and we came to deer park Friday the 16th a little after 11. I called 3 times to report this but either no one answered or the call was declined each time. So I’m writing a review. When my friends and I entered the building there was a female bouncer sitting at the bottom of the steps to go upstairs. My friends informed me that she is known for letting underage people into the bar that she knows. They said they have seen her multiple times let people they know for a fact are underage and tell these people she doesn’t care and to just go inside. As a bartender myself, not only do I find this very unprofessional, but also very concerning for the bartenders that work here. I also find it very unprofessional that I attempted to call 3 times to report and no one answered. Unsafe and unprofessional place.

Our server was Sophia and she was wonderful. She was attentive, helpful, and took great care of us. It was a busy night, being the last weekend for the college kids, but she never made us feel rushed or that she didn’t have time for us. She’s definitely an asset to the restaurant!

Stopped in for sandwiches and salad on a busy Friday evening. Sophia was our waitress. She was friendly and efficient. Full of UD students and alumni. Somehow she managed to have cold beers and our food to us quickly and we were leaving less than an hour later. Everything was delicious. Dinner under 40 bucks. Can’t really beat that.

Went there and I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I had the crab and artichoke dip. Everything was awesome. The dip really tasted fresh. And the short ribs were tender. But the greatest thing was our attentive waiter Aaron. He had a great personality and he made my experience enjoyable. Thank you all for making my visit great God bless you all.

First time going there, staff was rude, bartender was ok, but the other staff were rude, especially when you go outside, leave your stuff outside and they won’t let you back out, rude people, go somewhere else.
