FIESTA MAYA MEXICAN GRILL's food was AMAZING! The guacamole is super fresh. Attended a baby shower here and we enjoyed ourselves and food. Wilson and Eric the managers were very accommodating to the party. Yet, they do need more staff. Outside of that, if you desire some authentic Mexican food come to Fiesta Maya Mexican Grill..you won't be disappointed. Thank you will be back soon.

My fiancé and I visited this location in April 2025. Since we’re new to the area and looking for something quick, we decided to give it a try. We were seated immediately and received our drinks promptly. However, we got some stale chips and didn’t think much of it. We started enjoying a good conversation, but our food took a long time to arrive, even though it wasn’t very busy, only three people at the bar and three other families in the restaurant.

The staff didn’t check on us or ask if we needed anything; we had to wait patiently. When I finally stopped a waitress to ask about our food, she seemed surprised and said she was just wondering if it was ready and would go check. Another waitress brought out our dishes, and it was clear they had been sitting for a while. While we were hungry enough to still eat, the food wasn’t as fresh as it should have been. You could tell it was sitting out.

Overall, the experience was disappointing, slow service, stale chips, and lacking attentiveness from the staff. The way the waitress looked at us when I asked about our food felt dismissive. Given the food quality and slow service, I don’t think we’ll be returning to give them another chance.

The boys and I wanted to eat something fast during our road trip. We liked the food but the service was not the best very slow despite the fact that the place was not busy at all . If you order the guacamole don't expect any tomatoes & onions they have two types and I was not told til I got my order

Empty took 20 mins to get drinks. Then was quadruple set ... waiter seemed to be alone. Food came out in steps... waiter was nice but definitely not going back. Plaza in bear is certainly more authentic!!

Spur of the moment visit. We had the Maya Bowl. It was beyond excellent. Perfect amount of spice . It was a refreshing meal perfect on a warm night.

Fiesta Maya was surprisingly good for small town Delaware. My parents and I were in town for a family event and stopped in for dinner. Parking lot is large so no problems parking in this strip mall. Atmosphere is quirky, bright and the music is loud. Food though is very good with fairly good service and speed was OK although not super busy. Enjoyed and would go again if back in Newark.

Wilson is an amazing everything. We came tonight expecting a great time and he never disappoints. It was busier than normal on a Thursday and he greeted us and made sure that our experience was 100%. This is the place to come for great food, great atmosphere and great vibes .

We sat at the bar and we were the only ones there on a Saturday night. The service was slow. Wilson S came and got our drink order after 15 minutes and then never came back. We had to flag down the busser and ask for another drink and our tab. We never saw him again for our entire experience. I always like to give grace with service since I’m a FOH manager at a busy local restaurant. But this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I won’t be surprised if they close soon.

damn, my food was good! I went on a quiet Sunday afternoon, after visiting family and loading up on some Delaware priced liquor and goods. I will drive all the way back over here again for the same reasons. Just go try the restaurant, ain't no body got time to tell ya'll everything.
