Hard to say what I liked best here. Quick friendly service, crave satisfying food, bright interior—all window seating. Have I not enticed you yet?…so, a challenge…go order something with toast, close your eyes and take a bite. How can a someone take something as simple as toast yet transport you to a different place and time? Not going to give it away but I’ve got my thumb on the pulse of that buttery flavor. Go. Eat. Enjoy.
A Delaware staple, the sausage sandwich is one of the best you could ask for. Staff are always friendly and all their other breakfast stuff is just as good. Definitely give it a try!
So I ordered Door Dash and everything was fine no problems at all with DD. I ordered double sausage with cheese and peppers and onions and two hash browns. Helen’s wraps hot food in foil to keep it hot but hash browns aren’t supposed to be wrapped in foil because they don’t drain the grease and then they are placed in foil so once you get them to their destination they are soggy and greasy. Like McDonald’s they use paper or waxed paper for their hash browns to keep them...
