came in for a quick bite before an appointment and sat at the counter. Audra Rae came right over and took my order, filled my coffee, and smiled. The food was exactly what I wanted and Audra Rae was on it: making sure I had everything I needed without asking. She has a great personality and attention to detail. Will visit again!
we usually love metro diner. so much so that we came here for our 19 year olds birthday this morning - she loves the pancakes.
We tried to reserve a table, but your online system said no wait, and would not let one be made.
we arrive and are told 30-45 minutes.
we get told that "sorry about that".

The brown gravy that smothered my turkey and mashed potatoes was so spicy that I couldn't finish my lunch. Their Cole slaw is mixed with a spicy mustard. The cranberry sauce was your typical cranberry sauce but the highlight of the meal! When speaking with the unshaven manager, I was told they don't put any spice in their gravy hi because it comes as a mix.At 62, my palate can discern spicy and this platter was too spicy to eat for me.
