Loved it.Vegetarian options: I was really there for the avocado, which fits into my food regime, but the options all looked good. While not vegan (eggs), it's fine for vegetarians.“

“DAMN GOOD BIRRIA! It's Tuesday so I had a hankering for some tacos, Birria is always my favorite and I found this spot searching on Google. Am I glad I found this gem. Looks like a new place, newly setup, at the time of this writing the spot still has the old name of the tea shop that was there before it. The staff that was there was super friendly and got as excited as I did when I ordered the Birria tacos. They offer several meats for the tacos, I asked what they recommended and they suggested to try the lamb. It was really really good! The tacos were crunchy, cheesy, lamb was tasty and the consome had tremendous flavor. Good level of spicy for me, not too hot and not spicy enough, just right. It came with two different salsas, both tasty, with a side of onion and salsa as well. Once you start eating you can't stop, they are just soo good. If I ordered more than 4 I would have eaten more. The churro also topped it off nicely. Overall, great Birria tacos, the best I've had in the area, so totally worth giving them a try! Good food, friendly staff and a good option for casual eat in or take out. I will definitely be eating here again when I'm in the area.“

“Ok. Take II.....Great experience today at Helen's in Newark. Again I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing (not on purpose). They were still open. The ladies inside were extremely helpful and upbeat. Food was outstanding. Guessing my first experience was a "one-off" and I know that everyone has off days. I bought a single and a ton of sausages for the weekend St. Patty's Day parade post party. Overall, 5 star experience and I will be back again, and again.....“
