Great, I mean really great food and friendly service.
So far everything I have tried has been delish! The street tacos and the lamb stew with chick peas and rice were delicious! This is now my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine.

Tucked behind Capriotti's in the Newark shopping center, Lulu's Tacos is a delightful hidden gem that offers delicious, slightly spicy chicken tacos, along with specialties like birria, lamb, pork, and chorizo options. This restaurant has something for everyone, including a standout lamb birria ramen that has impressed many with its perfect flavor, toppings, and level of spice. The food is second to none, and the care put into each dish sets it apart from other places in the area. The house-made salsas and Jarritos beverages are not to be missed. The staff is kind and helpful, creating a welcoming environment for all, and they work hard to prepare food as quickly as possible, even during busy times. With great prices, even for dishes like the chipotle chicken street tacos and al pastor burrito, and food that comes out nice and hot, Lulu's Tacos might just become your go-to taco spot. Bonus points for being BYOB and having free parking. Though there have been some concerns about phone communication regarding hours, the friendly service and amazing food make it worth a visit.
