We came here for dinner on Father’s Day as a family, and unfortunately our waitress, Suzanne, couldn’t seem to acknowledge my husband. When she spoke to him, she looked at me instead of addressing him directly. While I didn’t expect anything elaborate for Father’s Day, even a simple “Happy Father’s Day” would have been a nice gesture and common courtesy.

Always have a great experience at Nifty fifty’s Newark! Service is always great, friendly and quick! I would recommend checking out this cozy little back in time spot for any occasion!!!! ALSO GET A MILKSHAKE WILL YA!!!! BEST SWEET TREAT!!

Nifty Fifty's (Newark) offers a cozy, back-in-time atmosphere that friends and family love. The food is terrific, with the bacon cheeseburger and fries described as absolutely delicious. The milkshake is the best sweet treat. Service is generally great, friendly, and quick, with one server described as amazing, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu. The theme and nice shows/movies add to the experience. A family dinner on Father's Day had a rough moment when a waitress did not acknowledge the husband directly, but a coworker was warm, inclusive, and professional, turning the experience around. The restaurant comes recommended for any occasion.
