I have dined at Ole Tapas on several occasions and each time my expectations were surpassed! The ambience, service, and food are all outstanding. The flamenco dancer they have on Saturday nights is a guaranteed crowd pleaser and fun for the whole family. The cocktails are delicious and they have an extensive drink menu with something for everyone! This place is a hidden gem in Newark and if you haven’t dined here before, you’re missing out!
First time in Ole Tapas since I am from South Florida. I went with my mother that lives in the area for early dinning. Good selection of tapas. Both of us having more experience with Spanish Tapas order some of the tapas but asked if they could be cooked in the traditional way. Nacho, our server, a native of Spain, asked the chef and they delivered! Great experience, Great Wine, SERVICE< SERVICE< SERVICE made this aa fantastic experience! Ended up sharing a bottle...
Everything was delicious. Favorites include the potatoes bravas, perfectly cooked with a slightly spicy paprika aioli, ragut de setas mushrooms, lamb chops, and Pollo moruno chicken eith chickpeas in a lime- cumin yogurt sauce. Great ambiance! Large selection of Spanish wines, classy bar, cozy booths and the most gorgeous red leather couches.
