Hidden gem of Newark and longtime favorite spot. Went in the other day and the owner recognized me after probably a year since my last time visiting when I was back in town. Sweet woman with the best sushi burrito on the east coast. Have no clue why there aren’t Pobu’s on every corner.

Pretty good poke! Not that much of a variety of toppings but the fish seemed fresh and the sauces were good. A good spot if you’re in the market for something simple & yummy!

I actually asked my husband to take a detour to get to this place. I was in the mood for poke and was excited to try this place. When I walked in, the place smelled like mildew but I still hoped for the best. I waited a while for the one person behind the counter to finally say something to me. She was working on another order and didn't even acknowledge my presence. I almost turned around and left after a few minutes (I had people waiting for me in the car since I was getting it to go) but I decided to wait. I decided on a bowl. They didn't have a lot of options but it looked like enough (or I had hoped) to make a nice bowl. Upon close inspection, the fish looked gooey, the rice looked undercooked so I got the spring mix, and the other toppings were meh. Everything put on the dish was more like a sprinkle than a spoonful. At the end of the line I had a bowl that was half full and mostly a small amount of green leafy stuff. The dish was absolutely not worth the price. I did eat it. When I finally got into the car and tried the food, I should have stopped when I found the spring mix had pieces way past their prime. I also should have stopped when I found the fish to be goopy and room temp. Long story short, it was a very small portion of less than stellar quality ingredients. I felt like heck about an hour later (not fun on a car trip). It was lunch time and the only food I ate that day. I should have started a fast at that moment.

I’ve been to NY, San Francisco, LA, literally everywhere and I went to Delaware for college so I’ve been here many times. This is the best poke place I’ve ever been to hands down, can’t wait to be back
Arrived at 3:30pm on a Saturday to find it was closed… no communication on the website, phone just kept ringing, and no sign on the door with an explanation! We drove an hour to get a sushi roll

This place kinda fell off. They skimp in the fish/protein and give you mostly rice. Not worth the $$

Delicious sushi burrito! Quick and friendly service! Ordered holy crab burrito and Tokyo Moe's burrito. Ingredients are fresh.
We have been driving past this place for years and didn't know what was inside. They make a huge sushi roll the size of a burrito and fill it with your choice of ingredients including nori, rice, edamame, vegetables, seaweed, pineapple, soy sauce, wasabi, sauces, etc. A friend recommended this and posted it on social media. Glad I went in. The owner was really helpful and friendly.
