My experience was not great at all. The food was good but the service was a 0/10. My server was too busy to help us at all. We couldn’t get a refill to save our lives. We asked for the manager and they never sent her over. She looked too busy on her phone like every other worker did. We just wanted to have a nice meal before we left our daughter at school and it wasn’t a good time at all. I wish the service was as good as our food when they got it right the second time. Never again, do not recommend.

Nice inside, but the service was slow, and the French fries were bizarre! They were so dark, we thought they were burned. They were also loaded with way too much salt. The Thursday special $10 hamburgers were good.

We had an overall good experience here. The service was good as well. Some of the food items we ordered were yummy too.Chicken tenders were soft inside and extra crispy outside and it tasted good??, fries were a little burnt. Goulash was not for my taste?. Pork chops was just okay nothing great. Mini chocolate molten cake was yummy??.Street parking is the only option here.

I have never been disappointed with my experiences here at the Stone Balloon and this meal was no different. The service is great for a "college restaurant" and the food is so good.

I recently moved to the area so my friend and I came here on a Thursday night. They were having a burger special - the prices were very inexpensive. The food was good, but the service was not. Our waitress seemed very bothered with having to take our order and answer questions. Our table was sticky and menus were dirty. Bummed because I’ve heard great things about this place.

I was disappointed in my service and the quality of the food at this restaurant. The chicken we received wasn't seasoned and was burnt on top of that. I understand some char but I had to scrape my meat due to the bitter burnt flavor it gave. The pita chips with my dip came burnt as well.

Been here at least 7 times. Normally it’s a decent dining/drinking option for Main Street. Came here Friday June 6/30 and it was pretty disappointing. Drinks were fine but my club sandwich was basically mayo and bacon on white toast. Waitress seemed bothered to be there. During the school year is likely a better experience.

My friend and I had delightful salads for lunch. Our server was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the time and meal.

My Kennett mushroom ravioli dish was to die for. The sauce was incredibly favorable and the raviolis were packed with locally grown mushrooms. The delicate sauce deserves to be sopped up with Italian bread so you don't waste any. On graduation weekend our waitress was still very attentive and handled the order like a seasoned pro. My husband had a burger which was juicy and flavorful. Definitely returning for future meals.

Stopped in for late lunch, seemingly during shift change. Manager sat us in no hurry, eventually a waitress took over without comment or introduction. Food was OK at best, but the Nashville chicken sandwich was the worst version I've had. The batter was more of a deep fried flour dusting that was slightly burned and flaked off. Definitely needs to be revisited.I don't like that they stand there with the card reader and make you make an instantaneous tip decision with their recommendations.

We used to love The Sone Balloon when Robbie was the chef. It's gone continuously downhill since he left. We went tonight for cheap date night and it was awful. It's sad, because it used to be great. Now its just another bar for students with mediocre food, that's great for a college town, but not for me.

Had a terrible meal. Ordered strogonof. It was not creamy at all. Very watery. The meat actually tasted bad. The wife had an appetizer of meat balls, the sauce had a bad taste to it. Dessert was bread pudding. It would have been decent if not so dry. Probably won't give then a second chance.

Remind me not to go back here. The vegan options are dismal - for a college town you would think they could be a little more creative and have something for everyone. I ordered the panzanella (I'm vegetarian) and it was a hug blob of cheese on scant bread cubes and sliced tomatoes. I understand that's what panzanella is, but for $17 couldn't it have had a few basil leaves or something to make it a little more special? Disappointed this time.

Vegetarian options: Disappointing

Our first trip back to Stone Balloon in years. We went for the Taco Tuesday 3 for $10.00. A REALLY good deal. Tacos were delicious, as was the chicken dumplings appetizer. Our server Holly was really good and REALLY busy. It looks like she was the only server working the lunch shift. She was all over the place. She was very friendly and helpful which was amazing as she had quite a few customers. She never showed any kind of stress. There are two suggestions I would make.First, we had no idea there was a special taco menu so they should be given out with the regular menu.Secondly, as tacos are messy to eat another napkin would be a great idea.Looking forward to our next visit!
