The problem roots from some big shot buying Jake's and making it a franchise. Quality suffers when places go franchise. Jake's was the best in Delaware, now it's just food. This location in particular suffers from people who do not smile or interact well with others. The place seems unwelcoming and disorganized , almost seems sticky. Mediocre food in an unwelcoming atmosphere. I've been here a few times, tagging along with others. I would never choose to eat here myself. It has an awkward unwelcoming atmosphere. No music and the employees wear headphones. They often keep the front door locked and make people come in through the back, which is weird. They offer specials, but make you oder online if you want to get them, and serve everything to go. They seem annoyed to have customers. The food is eh in...

The burger and fries were delicious. No complaints! The shake that was given (free shake day) was good too. My only issues was the leaking water i assume from the soda machine which had a huge puddle in the womans bathroom. The tables im not sure if its the table itsself or if it just was not cleaned but the table was hardcore sticky. Otherwise the food was good and customer service was good (minus lady taking my order, she definitely must have been at the end of her shift)
