Once again 1776 was amazing! It is our go to place when we want to have a special dining experience. The food was perfectly prepared and the entire staff was professional, courteous and friendly. We highly recommend 1776 to everyone!
Service was excellent. Alex was our waiter. To start the meal we received what looked like store bought rolls that were not worth wasting calories. I feel like a nicer restaurant needs to serve homemade bread or at least quality bread. French onion soup was good but the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were essentially peel and eat shrimp. They did not have the flavor/texture/size of shrimp cocktail. My husband had prime rib which was flavorful. I had the crab cakes which were ok....
We went for my husband's Birthday. The hostess was so sweet and wished him a Happy Birthday, but that was the last we heard of it. Nothing else special, like a candle with his desert. (deserts were delicious). Dinner was tasty, but the steaks were a bit dry. Drinks were delicious
