Delaware Seashore - South Inlet Big Chill Beach Club

We did the Bridge Walk over the inlet starting from The Big Chill where we had great food and drinks. Very nice!! It was $15.00 per person and food and drinks were included.

Food was not good, AT ALL. Steak skewers was dry and overcooked. We got both shrimp and fish tacos and both were not memorable. Nothing special. The fries were drowned in so much salt.
You need to pay $10 to get in as its part of the state park. We were not aware of this and had to pay $10 to park even though we only wanted to go to the resturant.
The only reason they got 2 stars is due to the atmosphere. Nice place, good views, nice breeze.

The atmosphere and customer service were perfection. We highly recommend you visit this beautiful spot where the ocean and the bay meet on the East Coast at the DE State Park. Whether you’re staying in Ocean City, MD or in Delaware at Fenwick, Dewey, Bethany, or Rehoboth, it’s a must see. We hope you enjoy! 🌊💙

I just came from the Delaware State Beach, near this restaurant, and there's a rat running around on the beach. I wont be back!

I think it’s absolutely INSANE to charge $10 at the concession stand for a McDonald’s cheeseburger. Smashed bread, cheese, and a burger. $5 for an iced coffee that tastes like they dropped ice in a hot pot. I love the atmosphere and being on the beach here, but the food is sub par, especially for the price.

Went for drinks and live entertainment. Had dessert had molten cookie and it served 4 people

We loved coming here for the beach, bathrooms, showers, and food and drink all available, a short walk for all those conveniences.

I want to start this review by saying our server Anna was AMAZING but let me go backward, now. We called before we headed toward Big Chill and let them know we had a party of 9 we were told if we got there in the next 15 minutes there would be no wait. We got there in that time and was told a 20-25 minute wait. No big deal. We have never been here before so no idea where to go next. The hostess was not helpful with this. So we went up by the bar and sat at some empty bar height tables. After we sat at these tables for 20 minutes. A woman (50s-60s, hat with a very short gray/blonde ponytail) came up to us. She could have said hi! We have some people who need these tables. Instead VERY RUDELY said We need these “cocktail tables” for “guests” so you need to find somewhere else to go. We let her know we were waiting for a table and that the hostess never told us where we could wait. She then said well we need these for people “buying drinks”. So we got up and moved. Asked the hostess where to go and she let us k ow our table was ready. She then took us to our table. About a foot from where we were just seated. Anna was amazing. Food was good. Music decent. One member of our party did not get their food with the rest of us. We paid our combined over $200 bill (I guess that doesn’t make us guests) Did I mention that of all the cocktail tables only one was seated in the entirety of our visit. To make it even worse. This rude person who may have been a manager was standing next to an older female bar tender as we left literally watching us leaving and LAUGHING at us. I guess our money was no good since we didn’t buy alcohol. We had hoped to make this a regular stop on our annual vacation but unfortunately first impressions are EVERYTHING and this was not a good one.

Great vibe nice staff. Food was good for what was expected.
