The food was very good along with the portions. Service was very good, we were celebrating a Birthday and they came out with cookies and a candle which was a nice surprise. Would go back if in town again.
I was worried that my group would find food for our varied tastes. Happy to report that everyone had a good meal at Downtown Blues. We sat in the back dinning room and it was comfortable in the booth.
Excellent BBQ! Some of the best I have had in the Northeast. Brisket closest to high-quality Texas style I have had on the east coast. Collards were great with nice vinegar finish. Adorable touch of serving kids meal on a souvenir frisbee. Wide selection of top shelf bourbons, nice draft list and specialty cocktails. My daughter loved the live music and danced her heart out. The servers were so sweet to her and gave her a dollar to place in the tip jar. Great establishment that...
