Grotto’s Pizza is the best! We ate here every time we went to the beach when I was growing up and we still eat here a bunch of times every summer. I’ll never get tired of their pizza. They also have good pasta and salads. Servers are always very sweet and friendly.Kid-friendliness: Pretty kid friendly - always see families eating here, and they provide kids menus with crayons.

I saw an employee chomping on pizza while he was standing in the kitchen in full view of customers lined up at the carry-out window. A couple of years ago I saw an employee lick her fingers - no gloves - and then grab a cup to fill with a drink for customers; when I complained to the manager, another employee made fun of me.

We visited Rehoboth Beach this past week and while on the boardwalk we decided to grab a slice. Walked in at 3:30 unaware that they close at 4:00. The staff wanted to go and didn't want anymore customers! But we still was able to have a slice and a cold beer. What a mistake. The pizza was gross. The crust wasn't bad but the sauce was awful. It's unbelievable that they have several locations. How do they stay in business? The visitors from NYC I bet just laugh. Never again! If you have a pizza craving go buy a frozen one.

Just don't do it. My son ordered spaghetti and meatballs, he got one small meatball. One of the worst pizzas i have ever eaten.

Only giving it two stars because of the food. The service was absolutely terrible, our waitress had a mildly rude tone and made it very obvious she couldn’t care less about anything work related :( she ran our food to the wrong table which I understand everyone makes mistakes but when she put in the new order as so she said I’m not sure why it took a whole hour for one single plain pizza? The restaurant was dirty with random food and trash all over the floor especially under tables and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Not to mention there was spaghetti noodles and pizza in the bathroom sink? It looked like it had not been swept mopped or even wiped down in about a week ?. We love Grottos and this was such a shame that this location gave us a bad experience. Although like I said in the beginning, the food was always good.

Arrived around 815pm on 8/30/23 at the South Boardwalk location, we were seated immediately and that's about it. We waited about 10 mins while the two waitresses we saw completley ignored us. It was very slow, 3 tables between the 2 waitreases yet there we sat being ignored. We finally left after about 15 mins and went to the Rehoboth ave location.

We visit once or twice a year and do grottos several times. The pizza is the best ever made.Dietary restrictions: They have salads that are good. They have chicken and something for everyone to eat..Kid-friendliness: Kids love pizza and the drink cups with lids are really helpful.

Great cheap beachside eats. Always tastes the same every time we come down. You know what you’re getting and it doesn’t try to be anything gourmet. Wings are great.

Conveniently located on the boardwalk, this establishment provides both dine-in and take-out choices. Our order included a whole pie and individual slices; interestingly, the pie exhibited a fresher taste compared to the single slices. Additionally, we sampled the barbecue wings, overall the food tasted decent.

I recently dined at Grotto on the Rehoboth Boardwalk and despite the undeniable chaos and crowds, this place managed to uphold a standard of quality and service that left me thoroughly surprised.Walking into the pizza place, I was immediately struck by the vibrant energy of the boardwalk atmosphere. The tables were packed, but despite the seemingly overwhelming demand, the staff worked seamlessly to accommodate everyone, and their commitment to delivering a quality dining experience was evident from the get-go.The star of the show, of course, was the pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. It was, as always, a delicious product. Note: Due to our kids' preference, we ordered light sauce with extra cheese. What truly set this place apart, however, was the superior service. Our server worked tirelessly and despite the hustle and bustle, we never felt rushed or overlooked. In conclusion, Grotto exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and service. Despite the overwhelming busyness, they managed to deliver a delicious pizza and provide a dining experience that felt personal and attentive. If you're willing to wait a little while for your meal, you'll be rewarded with a slice of beachside bliss that's well worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is kid-friendly.

Conveniently right on the boardwalk...offers both dine-in and take out options. You can purchase an entire pie or single slices.I tried a single slice...not the best pizza, Perhaps the pie would have been better.I do like the concept of the sauce on top...but the flavor was lacking and reminded me of movie theater or county fair-style pizza.Staff was very efficient and friendly.

Flies are the only thing that kill this place, better off just keeping the doors closed, somewhat slow service . Hands down favorite pizza anywhere. Extremely consistent, sweeter sauce. Friendly staff. Waiter wasn’t having the best day but did not let that interfere with giving us timely/good service
