We were seated right away, which was nice. We wanted slices and the waiter recommended a personal pizza instead to save money. Kind of regretted it as it felt like a frozen little pie and not traditional slices that I was craving.
Grotto was able to accommodate our party of 15 quickly. Our server was very good and patient with us (lots of kids). I was pleasantly surprised by how decent the pizza was, we ordered ours well done. The alfredo looked fresh, pasta looked homemade. Beer was cold. It is very loud as it is full of families with cranky kids who have been on the beach all day. Could have been cleaner inside, especially the bathroom.
Grotto’s Pizza is the best! We ate here every time we went to the beach when I was growing up and we still eat here a bunch of times every summer. I’ll never get tired of their pizza. They also have good pasta and salads. Servers are always very sweet and friendly.
