“Husband and I had a wonderful dinner celebrating our birthdays at Shorebreak Lodge Restaurant this weekend. The restaurant decor is sophisticated and the seating is super comfortable. The owners Ben and Diane go over and above to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. Their craft cocktails are the best! Always wanted to try octopus and this dish did not disappoint. Everything from appetizers to dinner was so delicious. Everyone we have recommended the restaurant to has gone there for dinner and they always tell us how great their experience was. We believe this restaurant to be one of the best restaurants in Sussex County Delaware. We highly recommend.“

“A friend and I enjoyed an absolutely phenomenal meal tonight - thank you so much!! The service from everyone was impeccable from the moment we walked in sans resy and you somehow conjured us a table on the patio; your food (from the bread and fritters to appetizers to mains) was absolutely top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. Our server, Bengi, took the time to answer our questions about “Just what is in that incredible dressing?!” (Cherry vinegar) and “what is this yellow strip of crunchy deliciousness I’m currently enjoying?” (pickled fennel). Also, I don’t know what you put in the glorious house-made chocolates, but I do know that I could eat them every day for the rest of my life. Thank you again!!“

Love this gem there are lots of good resorts restaurants but this is special it’s not themed cookie cutter like those !!! The food is exceptionally good great sauces and the decor is elegant!!!
