Poor customers service . Waited over one hour to get the basics pizza, not what I ordered . We love papa John but not this location.

Review for Pizza Hut – 19330 Lighthouse Plaza Blvd, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 On Thursday, July 17, 2025, I visited the Pizza Hut located at 19330 Lighthouse Plaza Blvd in Rehoboth Beach to place an order. When I walked in, the gentleman working was in the back on the phone taking another customer’s order. He was polite and greeted me as he walked to the register, but I noticed he was stretching his face and playing with his hair. After I placed my order, he went straight to making a pizza without washing his hands. I asked, “Aren’t you going to wash your hands?” His response was, “Oh, everything up here is sterile—it’s clean.” I reminded him that he had just been on the phone and touching the register, which is not safe food handling practice. He replied, “This isn’t your order anyway,” and then said, “The oven kills all the germs.” At that point, I asked him to cancel my order and refund my money — which he did. I initially planned to wait before leaving a review because I contacted corporate, but the lack of response from upper management made me feel compelled to share my experience. If this employee is acting this carelessly in front of customers, I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes. Whether it was my order or not, he was still putting his unwashed hands into ingredients — which is completely unacceptable. I used to enjoy their food occasionally, but I will not be returning. This employee clearly needs proper training in food safety. All I can say is: beware before eating at this location.

Ordered food and was told 35-45 minutes.

Called after 50 minutes to check on order. Called for about 15 minutes between waiting on hold and calling again. No one ever answered.

Horrible - unreliable - loves not to answer phone - do not order from them

I had the BEST experience at Papa John’s in Rehoboth Beach, DE around 2:30 AM! Bradin was working, and he truly went above and beyond. He was kind, professional, and so helpful even at that late hour. You could tell he genuinely cared about his work and about giving great customer service.

The pizza was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious, but it was Bradin’s positive energy and kindness that really stood out. People like him make you want to come back again and again. Thank you, Bradin, for making our night!!!!!

Went and ordered food. They sent out two orders of parm sticks instead of wings. When I told him I wanted wings I got the I don't know what to tell you that's what you told me which it was not. The parm bites were luke warm. cheese not melted at all. The boxes were saturated in the garlic sauce leaking all over. No wonder it's a failing franchise.

I ordered delivery and the food came hot and fast. It was very tasty! I am not sure why they have only 3.5 stars but it’s not my experience. My family was very satisfied.

Do yourself a favor and DON’T ORDER FROM HERE. These people that are making the food do not care in the slightest for delivery or food quality.

This was the best mainstream/franchise pizza I've ever had. Perfect amount of toppings and cooked just right. The owner here is doing something right.

Ordered a pizza and also garlic knots. Both boxes were DRIPPING in Garlic sauce and the boxes were soaked in garlic sauce. There was a PUDDLE of garlic sauce through the pizza box and it was a mess....I didn't even have a place to put these messy boxes down, and the pizza was inedible. I called to speak to the manager and he did not apologize and basically did NOT offer to remedy the situation. He didn't know what to say other than. ('Uh...uh. well not sure what to do.....uh..uh') I had to tell him the pizza was inedible and I wanted my money back. He was not helpful in any way. He hung up on me and when I called back and pressed '5' for manager he kept putting me on hold for almost 30 minutes. I would NEVER buy from the location in Rehoboth Beach again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, yet he said he was a 'manager'. An absolute waste of my time and money!!!!! Unfortunately I can't recall his name because he spoke very low on the phone. I will be following up with his manager due to my experience tonight 3-11-2025.
