Papa Johns Pizza

We ordered a cheese pizza and got this?? Where is the cheese???

Do yourself a favor and DON’T ORDER FROM HERE. These people that are making the food do not care in the slightest for delivery or food quality.

This was the best mainstream/franchise pizza I've ever had. Perfect amount of toppings and cooked just right. The owner here is doing something right.

Ordered a pizza and also garlic knots. Both boxes were DRIPPING in Garlic sauce and the boxes were soaked in garlic sauce. There was a PUDDLE of garlic sauce through the pizza box and it was a mess....I didn't even have a place to put these messy boxes down, and the pizza was inedible. I called to speak to the manager and he did not apologize and basically did NOT offer to remedy the situation. He didn't know what to say other than. ('Uh...uh. well not sure what to do.....uh..uh') I had to tell him the pizza was inedible and I wanted my money back. He was not helpful in any way. He hung up on me and when I called back and pressed '5' for manager he kept putting me on hold for almost 30 minutes. I would NEVER buy from the location in Rehoboth Beach again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, yet he said he was a 'manager'. An absolute waste of my time and money!!!!! Unfortunately I can't recall his name because he spoke very low on the phone. I will be following up with his manager due to my experience tonight 3-11-2025.
THE WORST EVER!!!!

Was told payment was good and food would arrive in an hour. Food never arrived, and I was never notified that my payment was returned. waited more than an hour and called back just to be told our order was cancelled for some reason.

My food was delivered 43 minutes late and all the food was dry and cold. AJ was fantastic in resolving the issue with a refund! Super manager!

Why does papa johns have the option for extra sauce and to bake it well done if they always ignore it? It's every time, and they definitely weren't busy tonight. Makes me feel silly for tipping on carryout. Why pay extra for minimal effort?

The lady on the phone taking my order lives in India, and tried to oversell my order with a barrage of add ins. (Papa John outsources the ordering process.) I ordered a large thin crust pizza with sausage and green peppers. It was literally the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The guy making my pizza was nice, but the pizza was so bad, I couldn’t eat it. The crust tasted like cardboard

Delivery driver very nice. Woman I spoke to on phone awful!!!!!!! Traveled here for the weekend, it was late and waiting close to hour for delivery, originally told 41 minutes. When I called and said 40 minutes in the middle of my sentence, she began to talk over me and would not stop. She then asked me to let her talk and she hung up on me.

I live 3.3 miles from this establishment and they would not deliver my order to my residence!! Saying it is out of there area.

AJ was absolutely fantastic! He apologized for the delay in getting us our food due to heavy traffic in the area. He even brought us cups and plates which I forgot to ask for! I appreciate him so much for his efforts and getting to us as quick as he could!

Awful service! Placed an order at 6:43 said wait time for delivery would be in 41 minutes. No delivery. At 8:00 called to check the status was told it was out for delivery. 8:15 no delivery called back to check status was told they were very busy and that they would refund the order and going up on us. Was not given a chance to talk. Money was refunded order was cancelled. Called back to voice a complaint about this rude employee at 8:26 phone was picked up... No one answered but it was placed on hold 12 times. I going up at 8:49 after a friend was able to get in touch with customer service. Worst customer service ever!!! Will not be ordering from this Papa Johns again!!!

Delivery guy was super nice. Pizza was boof. Dry. Do better.

We wanted a pizza and we asked for a large pizza for our kids the person with a long hair said “we don’t have extra large “… so “is there any other deal “and she replied “nope”as if she was exited … Do better and have a better customer service! You are not doing US favor you are making money!!! Your whole demeanor is awful!

I order delivery from this Papa John's location more than any other place. I've been meaning to write a review for a while now, but I wanted to get the names of the delivery drivers first. Tonight my order was delivered by Brandon; he was great, very personable and everything arrived in perfect condition. I have also had the pleasure of dealing with Don several times, and I can state the same things about him. I will say that AJ is a standout; when he delivered, he also brought plates and napkins, which I thoroughly appreciated. He has a great smile and wonderful personality. I have been to the store one time in person, and the entire staff there provided top-notch customer service. And of course, the food is always delicious. I love the Papa John's pizzas. Also, I get this chicken bacon barbecue Papadia that is bangin' and I suggest the brownie for dessert. Today, however, I'm about to try the Oreo bites. Yes, five stars for this Papa John's in Rehoboth Beach. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you guys. Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks!
