After finally convincing my boyfriend that more expensive sushi would be an excellent way to start our beach vacation, we attended our 5pm reservation with excitement. We got there at 4:50 pm early just in case.

So we went as an annual pilgrimage for some amazing sushi. I just wasn't ready to be ignored. 45 minutes between edamame and the entree was unreasonable as other tables around us were served even through they came after us. The food was expensive but worth it / the waitress tried and cared (and was tipped appropriately) but the ambient noise and the general disregard for us and our meal was uncool - I really felt like we were second class to the adjacent table.
