Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza Reviews
went to the one in pompano. Ordered the meatball and long pepper sandwich lunch special for $9.99. it was 1 meatball on foccia bread. I called the server and told her I think they forgot the meatballs. she confirmed with me that the lunch special only has 1 meatball on it. the sliced it super thin. it was horrible
Within two seconds of walking into the restaurant I observed the person handling all the food trays and pizza rubbing his face in his nose with his ungloved hand then proceeding to touch everybody’s trays and food without washing his hands. That’s something I don’t want to see when I walk into the restaurant, especially when everybody’s sick this time of year he had a glove on one hand, but not the hand he was using to touch and rub everything.
The sauce is very watery. The meatball not homemade. I was disappointed

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings offers a tasty dining experience with its crispy crust pizzas, juicy wings, and a full menu of pastas and appetizers. The open kitchen allows diners to see the chefs in action, creating a lively atmosphere. Customers often praise the excellent service and the bar, where skilled bartenders craft signature cocktails. Many guests enjoy ordering the buffalo wings and a variety of flavorful pizzas, including the fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil pizza. The restaurant has become a favorite for family outings, special celebrations, and casual nights out, with staff known for their attentive service and friendly attitude. The dining area is welcoming, and the food is generally hot and fast. Guests appreciate the attentive servers who often bring drink refills before being asked. The bar service is always friendly and attentive, and the happy hour meatballs are a popular choice, especially when paired with a large cheese pizza. The grilled wings are also highly recommended. However, some customers have noted that customizing pizzas can be pricey, and attention to detail, such as evenly spreading toppings, could improve. Some reviews mention that pizzas are sometimes more burnt than usual, but many find the pizza to be super crisp with a great chew, and toppings are fresh and plentiful. The inside has a good sports bar feel, making it a lively spot for casual nights out. Despite a few menu changes, Anthony’s remains a solid choice for pizza in Wilmington, especially for celebrations and casual dining.
