After discovering this delicious place of southern food a little over a month ago, I've become a big fan. Po boys, crawfish pies, fried mac&cheese, gumbo galore, and more! This restaurant is worth eating every week. Food never disappoints and I eagerly await a chance to get more as their menu changes for something new to try. I usually get at least 3 items each time ?
My review only covers 2 out of the many items that they have on their menu. The first item is the brisket gumbo. It was a bit of an overcast day and the gumbo really hit the spot. There was an ample amount of rice even for the small portion I ordered of which they offer 3 (sm, med, lg). The roux was exceptional. It was rich and had a balanced flavor. Wow! Generous portions of amazingly good food and outstandingly friendly, helpful hosts who are happy to describe the items on the menu and offer you samples to try. Highly recommend.
