1st time visiting Carmen's and I have zero regrets/. The food was delicious. The food here has Caribbean Flavors old school Grandmom style. I ordered the Mofongo with shrimp, my husband ordered yellow rice with pigeon peas, he did not wait till we got home plate was gone in the car. The girls are sweet. Carmen is hands on which I love. Her food is fresh. We shall return
One word: delicious!! The rice & beans were incredible. The sorullos con queso were to die for. Never had anything like it before. The platano maduro were the best plantains I’ve ever had. I ordered through door dash but cannot wait to try in person! 10/10!!
Carmen’s Kitchen never fails to disappoint. My faves are their garlic shrimp and rice, and their pernil. We often order their empanadas for my work and they are always a hit too! Every dish I’ve had of theirs over the years has been delicious.
